Andrew, Swift is an interesting prospect, I am looking forward to seeing him in camp as well. Stokley is a fine player, for sure, but I doubt Gaffney gets thrown all the way to No. 4 when and if Marshall reports. He signed a $10 million contract and McDaniels is very comfortable with him, and Gaffney knows the offense. I do think Stokley finds some role, however.

Holden, I don't think the Broncos' offensive line is smoke and mirrors, Harris and Clady were highly regarded coming out of college and Wiegmann has been a good NFL center for most of the decade. Clady was going to be a top 15 pick in the draft no matter the scheme, and he should have been in the Pro Bowl last year.

While who will catch balls is an intriguing question, a more pressing question is from whom will these receivers catch the ball...? With all that is new, how is a line BUILT to block for roll-out passers going to protect a guy not much more mobile than Craig Morton? With defenses not worrying about the long ball (rightfully so) or play action, how is noodle-armed Kyle Orton going to complete passes while he's flat on his back?

From what I read about the minicamps Stokley had a great showing and even McDaniels recognizes how valuable and reliable he is, especially on third down. I don't think there is anyway he gets unseated at #3. I could see Gaffney playing #2 w/out Marshall. But if Marshall comes back Gaffney becomes #4.

I am really excited about Kenny McKinley, but I am even more excited about Nate Swift. Dude was a stud at Nebraska last season and from what I understand is a quick, hard working receiver who has drawn comparisons to Welker. I am pulling for him to earn a spot on this team, even if its just special teams.
